Nadya Heger is responsible for the statistical coverage of Bulgaria, Czechia, Slovakia and Turkey. She has oversight of the wiiw Annual Database on Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe and ensures its methodological comparability and quality. Nadya is in charge of the annual data collection from Eurostat. She also coordinates the individual country and summary forecast table production within the statistics department for wiiw forecasts. Nadya is likewise responsible for the provision of microdata for wiiw research projects. She holds an MA in Economics and Politics from the University of Freiburg, Germany, and a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Economics in Varna, Bulgaria.
