wiiw is looking for an economist with expertise in the Visegrád countries to strengthen its research activities in Central Europe. The position includes macroeconomic forecasting, empirical research, policy-oriented analysis and the development of new research projects. Applicants should have strong econometric skills, experience in applied economic research and a solid understanding of the region’s economic dynamics. Knowledge of a Visegrád language is an asset. The role offers flexible working arrangements, international cooperation and direct engagement with policymakers, researchers and the public debate.
