Major tasks:
- Widen our expertise on industrial and trade policy in Europe and beyond
- Do applied empirical research in the context of the current structural and technological change and global production integration
- Develop and conduct your own research agenda
- Contribute to bringing our research findings into the public debate
Requirements:
- Master’s or PhD degree in economics (or related fields of study; e.g. political economy)
- Pronounced interest in empirical research
- Skills in econometrics/quantitative research methods
- Existing research experience is desirable
- Interest in economic policy debates
- Excellent command of English
- Language skills in German are not strictly required but very helpful
- High capacity for teamwork
The position is limited to two years in the first instance, but it can be extended into permanent employment following a satisfactory probationary period.

Monthly remuneration (14 times a year) for the 40 weekly hours position will be € 3,067.06 gross or above, depending on qualification.
