Cedefop's New European Skills Forecast - Specific Contract 2

Client/Funding Institution

CEDEFOP

Abstract

The project supported Cedefop in keeping the New European Skills Forecast current and more useful for policy and analysis. It provided technical assistance for the 2025 Spring and Autumn short-term skills projections (STAS) and developed a pilot solution that combines online job vacancy data from OVATE with these projections. It also proposed a coordinated visualisation of the results, produced enhanced tasks and skills metrics, and analysed the gender dimension in STEM. A validation workshop brought experts together to discuss the results and methods.
