Jakub Komárek is a country expert for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He also works as an economist at the Czech think tank Facts about Climate. Previously, he worked at the Sustainability Analysis Department of the Ministry of Finance, as well as at the think tank PAQ Research. His expertise covers property taxes, capital gains taxes, excise taxes, ETS2, building renovations, and housing affordability. He was a major contributor to the Housing Affordability Recommendations of the National Economic Advisory Board. He holds a PPE degree from UCL and a Master's degree in Economics from Charles University in Prague.
