Mieke Hein joined wiiw as Project Manager in 2025 and is mainly responsible for projects funded by the OeNB Jubilee Fund, and the FIW project, among others. She has a background in international cooperation, project management and research with a focus on social movements and politics in West Asia and North Africa. She holds degrees in Cultural Anthropology and Arabic Studies from the Universities of Leipzig and Vienna.
