Client/Funding Institution
Open Society Foundations Western Balkans (OSF)
Abstract
converge2eu aims to support the economic, social and institutional convergence of the Western Balkans with the EU, by developing a comprehensive convergence database, accompanied by an online dashboard, and annual convergence reports to track progress on national and regional level. In addition, the project will provide scenario analyses of different EU accession pathways, as well as policy recommendations on how to accelerate convergence for each group of policy actors. Finally, it will engage in comprehensive promotion and advocacy activities with policymakers and advisers, both in the Western Balkans and in the EU, to disseminate the findings and promote the recommendations. This project is a continuation of the project Monitoring and Supporting Western Balkan Convergence with the European Union.
