Client/Funding Institution

CEDEFOP

Abstract

The project is a continuation of the four-year project on 'Real-time Labour Market Information on Skill Requirements: Setting up the EU System for Online Vacancy Analysis' which explored online job-advertisements (OJAs) as a new source of real-time Labour Market Information to shed light on the changing skills demand in different sectors and occupations in the 28 EU Member States (see https://www.cedefop.europa.eu/en/tools/skills-online-vacancies). In the coures of the project, labour market experts from 32 countries of the Union - with a labour market expert from wiiw as country expert for Austria - provide an update of the structure of the online job-portal markets and the extent to which online job-portals are used in recruitment and job-search as well as knowledge of the labour market in general.
