Ambre Maucorps is Economist at wiiw. Her research focuses on the EU regional policy. She has contributed to and also led several EU-wide evaluations, impact assessments and research studies on the effects of EU funding (ERDF, EAFRD, etc.) on regional economic development, including in a cross-border context. From her academic background and professional experience, she acquired strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills. Ambre Maucorps holds a Degree of Engineering (with a major in Economics) from the Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, France, as well as a M.A. degree in European Economics from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, and has worked in Brussels, London and Vienna.
