26 January 2024 10:00 am CET
FIW Round Table: Focus Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe
Venue
Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ), 1040 Vienna, Wiedner Hauptstraße 63, Hall 2
Description
It's not just cars that are built along the Danube. In cities like Belgrade, there is a lively scene of start-ups in the digital economy. Russia's war against Ukraine has led to a large influx of programmers to the Serbian capital. Bucharest, Krakow and Budapest are in the global top 10 ranking of ideal cities for digital nomads. In addition to industry, the region is developing a second mainstay in the business services sector. In this round table, we want to discuss the opportunities and development potential of the digital economy in the Danube region.
