Sluggish Growth – Investment to the Rescue?
Venue
Oesterreichische Nationalbank, Otto Wagner Platz 3, 1090 Vienna Kassensaal
Description
After several disappointing years, economic growth in the countries of Central, East and Southeast Europe (CESEE) may accelerate in the years 2014 to 2016, which would have to build on an upturn in public and private investment. The seminar will address the question of the feasibility of such an investment push and look at some crucial factors that may support or hinder investment activity. We will also present the new short- and medium-term economic forecast of the Vienna Institute for the CESEE region.
