The following questions will be addressed:
- Is CESEE facing a new permanent inflation era or just a temporary shock?
- Will the Middle East war derail CESEE’s growth story?
- After the second inflation shock in just a few years, are we witnessing the end of CESEE’s low-cost growth model?
- Which countries are most exposed to the new energy shock and which are more resilient?
- Could a longer war push parts of CESEE into recession and how much will energy exporters like Russia and Kazakhstan benefit?
- Is defence spending becoming CESEE’s new industrial policy?
- Will firms that fail to automate and adapt be squeezed out between rising costs and Chinese competition?
