Hermine Vidovic is a Research Associate at wiiw where her research focuses on labour markets, social policy and migration, Slovenia and Croatia. She has been working on several studies for DG Employment (e.g. contributed to studies on labour mobility in the context of enlargement, on activation policies in the Western Balkans or the study supporting the evaluation of the council recommendation on the integration of long-term unemployed into the labour market), the RCC on labour mobility in the Western Balkans, the ILO and Austrian authorities. She was a member of the pool of experts for the European Job Mobility Laboratory (2010-2013). She is leading the project on the ‘SEE Jobs Gateway Database’ and lead author of the Western Balkans Labor Market Trends report, which is conducted in cooperation with the World Bank. Ms Vidovic obtained her M.A. degree in Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
