Isilda Mara is Research Associate at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies. She is country expert for Albania and Kosovo and contributes to several research projects in the area of migration and labour economics. She has collaborated on several international migration projects with special focus on intra-EU mobility, patterns of mobility from the Western Balkan countries and Africa, addressing economic and social implications from the perspective of sending and destination country. Ms. Mara holds a Ph.D. in European Economic Studies from the University of Turin, Italy.
